Who Qualifies To Get A Bursary Or Student Loan From NSFAS?
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has formally opened the 2025 application process.
Applications are now open and can close on fifteen December 2024.
*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding
To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant should fulfill the subsequent criteria:
• Be considered a South African citizen or copyright who originates from a house which has a combined gross residence income that doesn't exceed R350 000 per annum.
• Individuals with disabilities qualify if their combined household profits will not exceed R600 000 per annum.
• SASSA recipients instantly qualify for funding and need not submit any evidence of earnings.
*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle
The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open to all South African citizens and permanent citizens from homes with combined R350 000 and R600 000 for every annum.
Applicants are reminded to provide the right Identification Doc 2025 nsfas application numbers, names, and surname, as mirrored in their South African ID.
NSFAS only funds individuals who are learning or intend to study at a public university or TVET college in South Africa.
All students who wish to study in any of the public universities and TVET colleges should apply timeously and not to wait until the last day.
Learners do not have to here wait for matric results to apply for NSFAS. They should apply now and avoid delays in the processing of their application.
